ICE FISHING IN MINNESOTA

A PERFECT FISHING DAY

In Minnesota in February,
It usually is very cold.
Today the sun was shining,
The temperature was fifty by noon!

Brian and I went to Duck Lake,
To sit in the open on ice,
We drilled our holes before noon,
Minnesota fishing today was nice!

We caught ten cr appies easily,
We let the small ones go.
We caught some sunnies and some perch,
Then fishing kinda slowed!

We stayed out there till’ three o’clock,
We had a lotta’ bites!
We would have stayed a little longer,
But Brian had to work! L

I went back out at four o’clock,
I had doubles on a lot.
The depth finder was full of fish,
They never seemed to stop!

I caught a limit in one hour,
I threw a lot back then.
I finished up at seven o’clock.
Then cleaned fish ‘ till after ten!

Neil,
I found your web site and logged on hoping to find that you are related to Gary and Roy Lillo. I attended Bethany Lutheran H. S. with them in 1963-1964. Gary and I were Juniors-Roy a Senior before he left to get married. I am not sure if Gary will even remember me. I only attended one year at the school but considered him a good friend way back then. I would like it if you could forward my Email address to him. I'd just like to touch some old bases. Thanks.
